Commercial Project General Rates Breakdown

Basic Commercial Production

Pre-Production: $100/hour
Includes Location Booking, Talent Booking, Script Revisions, Story Boards, Shot Lists, Rentals, etc.

Basic Full Day Film Rate (up to 10 hours): $2,200 (includes: 2 person crew, setup/breakdown, camera, audio recording, lighting, tripod, etc.)

Basic Half Day Film Rate (up to 5 hours): $1,200 (includes: 2 person crew, setup/breakdown, camera, audio recording, lighting, tripod, etc.)

Additional Filming Hours: $250/hr

Aerial Video Footage: Rates can vary depending on location and complexity, please Contact Us to find out more about associated costs.

Post-Production

Editing: $85/hr or $600/day

Sound Design: $100/hr

Voice Over: $150/hr + Artist Rate

Graphics: $70-$120 Price Depends on complexity

Music License: $40-599+ (price depends upon song, the size of your company and video distribution)

Travel

Driving Milage: $0.50/km Distance is measured with Google Maps starting and ending at the Greater Vancouver Area Boundary. Milage is only factored in cost for projects that require travel between two different filming locations OR projects that take place outside the Greater Vancouver Area. For video shoots beyond reasonable driving distance, contact us to work out accommodations, we will go anywhere.

Overnight Lodging: $250/night

Long Distance Travel: TBD (Ask for Quote)

List of rates covers only production costs associated directly by Black Sheep Media and does NOT cover additional charges or prices of/by actors, locations or additional permits required to film in certain areas. BSM can only estimate associated costs, and does not guarantee rates and additional charges made by third parties. We always do our best to negotiate fair market prices on behalf of those we represent, during pre-production and production. BSM requires a deposit before production depending on the scale to cover incurred costs relating to such things.
